Fort Yargo has purpose built family friendly singletrack trails. Full laps are around 12-15 miles, with shorter options/loops available (inner loop is mellow and good for beginners, outer loop is more advanced but still doable for most - it is an excellent place for newer riders to up the stakes and challenge themselves without undue risk). Terrain is variable, mostly flowing singletrack, not much truly technical terrain at all - very few roots or rocks. Yargo has some moderate climbing, so be prepared with the right hydration and fuel for the family if they are with you. It is in a state park, so there is a $5.00 car entrance fee, and as of this year, a $2.00 "mountain bike trail fee" - or you can buy an MTB pass for $25.00.
