Review

This is a great trail for hiking and trailrunning located not far from the center of town just off of 441 heading towards Commerce. It makes for a nice shaded early long run or a mid-afternoon tempo across the the boardwalks that lace themselves among the watershed's trees. Be sure to run slowly across the boardwalks that make up a significant portion of this run on wet/rainy days! Also, the lower parts of this trail tend to flood on days that have been consecutively rainy. However, overall the trail is well maintained and not too technical for the beginning trail runners! There are also many other capillaries of trails that intertwine themselves within the area so many different distances of runs can be put together. Afterwords, be sure to enjoy a cup of joe at the Jittery Joe's located at 780 East Broad Street. This is where they roast the beans for the other locations in town so the cups are always fresh!
