Intro

There is a 12-mile loop that most people ride, but there are also several other spur trails as well. Most of the trails here are comprised of hard-packed dirt, but there are some sections that have unfortunately been heavily eroded and feature some loose terrain as a result.  Please help to slow this erosion by staying on track and not riding on the side.

What Makes It Great

You don't need a super bike to ride here; hard tails do just fine. You also don't need to be an expert rider to have a good time. This is a fun park for riders of all skill levels, and it's the perfect for bringing newbies or friends from out of town to show them a good time. Ride the circuit twice if you want more miles, and most importantly, have fun!

Who is Going to Love It

Walnut Creek is a perfect spot for beginner mountain bikers. The riding is not terribly technical and there are plenty of other riders to follow, so you can stay on track. There are a number of trails here, and some of them are two-ways, so stay alert and keep from getting into a head on collision.
