Saint Lawrence Gridiron

Made possible by

Formerly a food truck, Saint Lawrence Gridiron recently took up permanent residence across from the Capitol, bringing delicious brisket, pulled pork and house-specialty poutine to the downtown core.

The legendary brisket and poutine of Saint Lawrence Gridiron – the food truck – is now a little easier to access. Trading in their home-on-wheels for a permanent location, the Gridiron now occupies a modern, cozy space that was formerly the Falcon Tavern. The doors opened earlier in the spring to a very welcoming crowd of fans earned during the food truck days.

The menu includes long-standing favorites like brisket, pulled pork sliders, and poutine but has been expanded to include a much larger offering. The smoker is out front should you want to see where your delicious meal got started. It's a good idea to come with a friend or two, order multiple items and share so that you can experience as many flavors as possible. Or perhaps, you’ll decide its too darn good to share and keep your meal all to yourself.

The front patio is a great place to enjoy lunch, happy hour, or a warm summer night below their glowing twinkle lights; so really anytime it's nice out, which is often in Boise. Or, stake out a spot inside at the bar, at a table or on the front couch; the small space feels spacious and light with clean, modern style that combines matte metals and dark, aged wood.
