Kelly’s Whitewater Park opened in 2010 and has become a fun-seekers destination since. For kayakers, paddleboards and river suffers, the park offers a good playground for practicing skills and tricks. Its also a great spot for those looking for an exhilarating tubing opportunity. An easy drive from Boise, the park is a welcome escape from the city on a hot summer day and for thrill-seekers looking for a more regulated chance to play on the river.

For those less inclined to get wet, a nice trail along the river offers a chance to watch the action without having to get in on it. This is also a great spot to do some fishing.

Also, Kelly’s hosts the Payette River Games each June for those who want to test their skills in competitions including river surfing, kayaking, SUP, raft cross, and even a dog fetch.
