Great food and Boulder go hand in hand. From the high-end cuisine at the Flagstaff House to the quality pub grub at the Hungry Toad, the entire culinary spectrum awaits. There's also a very lively brewing community in Boulder, anchored by Avery Brewing but comprised of many microbreweries like Left Hand Brewery and Oskar Blues. There are also several Nepalese and Tibetan restaurants -- not surprising, considering Boulder's adventurous, mountain-driven lifestyle (the running joke is that if you ask how many people have climbed Everest in a Boulder restaurant, you'll get at least a dozen patrons and several waiters). There are a variety of great dining experiences on the Pearl Street Mall, though it's not the only show in town. No matter what your appetite, Boulder is sure to have a meal ready to go, especially if you are into organic, healthy, vegetarian and vegan dishes (and yes, they actually taste great).
