Review

Are you an American Civil War enthusiast? Do you like to ride bikes? Well then here’s the route you need to take. Start out at the Ferry to Fort Sumter and take George Coleman blvd all the way to Sullivans Island (keep in mind that George Coleman eventually turns into Ben Sawyer blvd). Once you are on Sullivans, take a right on to Middle Street and cruise down to Fort Moultrie. I personally love this ride, and I think there are few better ways to spend a Saturday than checking out some historical sites while clocking in about 15 miles on the bike. Just make sure to bring a change of clothes if you plan on touring Fort Sumter, you might get a few stares from the tourists on the ferry if you’re dressed out in your spandex.
