We could name all of our favorite restaurants, bars, and coffee shops in Charleston, but the list would never end. Charleston is a foodie town. On the peninsula, you’ll find world-class dining establishments right next to greasy dive bars, and it’s all incredible.
There are so many amazing places to eat that it can be overwhelming to choose a restaurant, but that’s our job to fill you in on the best spots. Run into Queen Street Grocery to grab a post workout crepe, or kick back at Two Boroughs Larder with an ice cold local brew and an entree you can’t pronounce, you cannot go wrong either way.
Charleston has embraced its passion for fine eating establishments, as well a hardcore dedication to supporting local agriculture. If you ask where any given restaurant’s ingredients come from, they will point 10 miles down the road to Johns Island, where local farmers grow fresh, organic produce and sell it to our restaurants from the back of a flat-bed truck. In fewer words, Charleston is a food lover’s paradise.
