At Dilworth coffee, it’s all about the brew and always has been. Since they are the original specialty coffee house in Charlotte, Dilworth coffee has been doing it for a long time.

The original location in, oddly enough, Dilworth is pretty basic as far as coffee houses are concerned. Patrons typically fill the dozen tables, counter seats, and two comfy chairs. Conversations about job searches, real estate deals and parents dishing on their families recent exploits mix and swirl in the modest loft space. It’s not always easy to find a seat but when you  do the free wi-fi will allow you to get some work done (meaning, you can obsessively check your Facebook account).

The coffees start as beans roasted specifically for Dilworth coffee, using a special process pioneered 20+ years ago. The quality and care show in a plain cup with plenty of latte and iced coffee varieties to quench whatever your fix needs. You can grab a snack there from a small selection of muffins etc. but there’s also a grocery store which shares the same parking lot if you need something more substantial.

Dilworth Coffee is open from 6am to 9pm Mon – Fri and 7am to 8pm on Sat and Sun.
