Are you looking for that classic Tom Sawyer river experience? Then River Canyon Adventures is the destination for you. Just a few minutes from downtown Chattanooga, at the base of Signal Mountain, enjoy an afternoon of paddling, swimming and lounging along the beautiful Tennessee River.
Here you may rent a kayak or a paddleboard and explore the breathtaking ridges & canyons of the Tennessee River Gorge Blue Way. Your adventure starts when you leave their location and head down the river on a 2 to 3 hour paddle down the river. You will be greeted with sandbars with volleyball nets and rope swings. The coolest part of this adventure is that they will pick you up on their pontoon boat when you are finished paddling downstream.
But there is more, River Canyon Adventures offers overnight camping and even has two rooms available to rent for a night, a day or a week. When your driving to River Canyon Adventures, we recommend that you check out the blue holes along Suck Creek Road to extend your Tennessee adventure. Also, kids are always invited to paddle & explore the river.
