Currently I work at Knoxville's locally owned outdoor specialty retail store, River Sports Outfitters. When it comes to outdoor recreation, my passion is rock climbing. It is the first thing I think about every morning and the last thing I think about before bed. But I dabble in and enjoy many other outdoor sports ranging from backpacking to mountain biking, trail running to road cycling. If it happens outside, I'm in!

Ever since I could carry a backpack, my father has encouraged me to get outside as much as possible. His passion and admiration for nature fueled my interest for years. That interest has progressed from a hobby to a lifestyle and now I can't help but be outside at every chance I get. If I'm not working, you can find me on the rocks, in the trees or on the nearest trail.

I love learning about new places to do the things that make me feel alive. Sometimes I'll get stuck going back to the same places because they are familiar, but changing locations and enjoying new scenery keeps things exciting. Getting to explore and discover somewhere new recharges me and reminds me of why I love the great outdoors. The opportunity for adventure is limitless.

Check out River Sports Outfitter's website for gear and keep up with up-coming Knoxville outdoor activities.
