Lindsay Beckner

Hi. I am a Nashville native and I grew up swimming competitively for NAC. Following my college graduation, I decided to trade in the pool for the roads. Since my debut marathon in 2005, I have run 5, including Boston in 2010.  In recent years, I made another athletic switch: this time, I set my sites on the trails. In 2011, I won my first very ultra marathon, the Stump Jump 50K trail race in Chattanooga, making me the RRCA State Champion for Tennessee. In 2012, I placed 2nd at the Mt. Cheaha 50k in Alabama , 2nd at the RockCreek Trail Marathon in Chattanooga, and 4th at the 60 mile Stage Race in Chattanooga. I am proud to be a member of the race team, Nashville Running Company, who's flagship store is located in East Nashville. You can find me most days running one of these: Percy Warner Park, Bowie Park, East Nashville, Downtown Nashville, or the country roads around my home in Fairview. When I'm not running, I spend my time with my family playing on our farm, hiking trails, riding bikes, or rock climbing.

    Nashville

Great place to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city; you'll see more wildlife than people.
