Just past Little River Canyon and Fort Payne, about an hour and forty five minutes east of Huntsville, Jamestown provides absolutely bomber climbing. Jamestown is super super gorgeous. It's a sunny wall, so prime time is in the winter. With the help of the Southeastern Climbers Coalition, Jamestown recently built new, clean trails, so access is very easy. The climbing is predominately trad, but there are some sport routes out there as well. Parking is obvious, but go to the back of the parking lot, and then through a couple closed gates. I can't say it enough- with 1700 feet of linear climbing, Jamestown offers stellar, gorgeous cracks.
