Made possible by

The trails at Concord Park are well maintained, well marked, and perfect for trail running and mountain biking. The best part is that they're only half an hour from downtown!

Concord Park offers 9-10 miles of solid singletrack trails, which are great for mountain biking and trail running. The trails are fairly technical with twisty climbing and occasional roots and rocks to watch out for. This is a great place to go running with dogs, and there's also a dog park and a par-3 golf course. Within the park is also Fort Loudon Lake, where many of Knoxville's SUP races are hosted, and where plenty of paddlers frequently come to practice their craft.

What Makes It Great

Knoxville has no shortage of quality off-road opportunities, and the Concord Park trail system does a good job keeping up with all the rest. With trail difficulties of all types, from beginner-friendly trails like the Golf View Trail and the Mainline Loop to more difficult trails like the Lake Shore Loop and the Orient Loop. No matter what difficulty you are looking for (or if you are looking to link trails of several difficulties) there are plenty of options here.

Concord Park is one of those areas that is perfect to spend a day and bring the kayak, bike, and trail shoes for a multi-sport adventure. The water access here provides paddlers access to Fort Loudon Lake, frequently used by paddlers and boaters of all kinds. On a summer evening, the water is spotted with boats of all shapes and sizes and it is great just get on the water to explore before grabbing dinner in nearby Farragut (or at the nearby Lakeside Tavern) or heading back to Knoxville to grab a drink and food in Market Square.

Who is Going to Love It

Although anyone will love this area, mountain bikers, trail runners, and paddlers will enjoy it the most. The trails here are high quality and varied, and the water accessibility makes it easy to get out on the lake.
