Lafayette Kayak Fishing Club

The Lafayette Kayak Fishing Club is a friendly and welcoming club dedicated to the sport of Kayak Fishing. There's no better place to learn when, where and how to kayak fish. LKFC promotes safe fishing, conservation, public fishing access and angler education in a family-friendly environment. They gather monthly for meetings, trips and tournaments. Be sure to join the club for access to tons the club forum, maps, launches and contacts.

Lafayette Paddle Club

The Lafayette Paddle Club (LPC) is Acadiana's club for paddling enthusiasts. We paddle the bayous, lakes, and bays of Louisiana and neighboring states. They also work with state and local organizations to help maintain and promote recreational paddling opportunities. The recurring goal of the LPC is to bring together canoeists and kayakers on field trips to share the joy of paddling, and allow for a safer experience.

Acadiana Chapter of the Sierra Club

The Acadiana Chapter of the Sierra club gives you a chance to plug in to local environmental efforts in the Lafayette area as well as to participate in some great outdoor outings. The group hosts both hiking and paddling trips to local destinations.

Louisiana Hiking Club

The Louisiana Hiking Club is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization designed to meet the needs of Louisiana backpackers and hikers. Its goals are:  to advance the knowledge of hikers and backpackers in Louisiana by offering classes, seminars and other educational resources  to foster communication between hikers  to maintain existing trails and establish new ones  to plan trips  to compile accurate cartographic and naturalist guides for Louisiana trails Our member backpacking and day hiking trips range from short excursions into: Louisiana's Kisatchie National Forest along the Wild Azalea and Backbone trails; Mississippi's Clark Creek Natural Area and Clear Springs Trail; to trips of more than 100 miles along Arkansas' Ozark Highlands Trail. Other hikes include: the Ouachita and Pinhoti trails; and Alabama's Sipsey Wilderness.

Acadiana Fly Rodders

Acadiana Fly Rodders is a Lafayette, Louisiana Fly-fishing club. We meet the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm in Grace Presbyterian Church, 518 Roselawn Blvd, Lafayette, LA 70503. During the summer the summer we have fly casting practice a half hour before the meetings. Please come join us for fly casting and a meeting.

The Cajun Cyclists are a group of enthusiasts who's main goal is to promote the sport of bicycling in South Louisiana. The organization's backbone is comprised of a group of dedicated volunteers who spend countless hours to make our goal a reality. Their efforts include leading rides, bicycle advocacy, event organization, website maintenance, club finances, and of course logging many miles throughout the year.
