Intro

Griffith Park is widely known for its quality trail system, but another great feature of this urban park is its intricate road system, which is perfect for cyclists and road runners alike. As with the trail system, you can customize your own personal workout on these roads. There's a wide range of route options ranging from short and easy to long and hard, and the park also has convenient amenities such as restrooms, picnic tables, and bike rentals.

What Makes It Great

One particularly popular option for cyclists and runners is the 9-mile bike loop that weaves through the park. You can either start to the north near Riverside Drive and Zoo Drive or to the south at Los Feliz and Crystal Springs. This loop is great for the cyclists seeking a quick workout or for the family seeking a pleasant cruise.

As always with Griffith Park, you'll be treated to really nice views of the Observatory, Hollywood sign, and sprawling city. Enjoy a nice ride or run along the paved roads of this awesome park!

Who is Going to Love It

This is a mellow ride and good for any level of cyclists, though it might be a little tame for those looking for a more intense workout.
