Found within the Minneapolis art district, Anchor Fish & Chips is a small Irish pub-style restaurant with a modern twist. Offering classic Irish meals and brews, and also local micro brews, there’s no better place to return back to your Irish roots.
When you walk in through the velvet green curtains, the delicious smells of fried fish and tartar sauce welcome you. Though Anchor Fish & Chips is known for their deep-fried Alaskan Cod, their burgers are also quite comparable. Some locals would even argue that the Helicopter Burger is the best meal on the menu, but it’s hard to compete with the generous helping of $10 Fish & Chips served with homemade tartar sauce.
During weekend brunches and Happy Hours, be prepared to wait for a table. Usually it doesn’t take longer then 5-10 minutes. Just know, while waiting outside, it is well worth the wait.
