Nestled in the neighborhood of Kingfield, The Lowbrow is a local south Minneapolis gem. With its friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and a flawless menu, it’s no wonder The Lowbrow has been getting more press lately. They are known for their punchy burgers and melt-in-your-mouth sandwiches, but they also make a homemade chili appetizer that is to die for. And if that weren’t enough, their deserts aren’t bad either.

If you find yourself looking for a bar to get drinks at with friends, then The Lowbrow also offers some great happy hour options. From Tuesday through Friday from 2pm-5pm & 9-close they have $3 tap beer, house wine, sangria, and half-priced nachos. If you’re looking for a good date night, they also have half-priced bottle of wine night every Sunday.

During the weekends, there is a brunch from 9am- 2pm. It fills up fast, but the jalapeño hash or made-from-scratch pancakes are well worth the wait!
