Milt’s is Moab’s oldest restaurant located in the same place since 1954 on what used to be Main St. before Main St. was moved. The original owner, Milt Galbraith and his wife Audrey lived in a trailer under the large sycamore tree that is now an outside dining area with eclectic sculptures, murals and picnic tables on astro-turf. Inside, all the vinyl stool seats and patterned formica are original and you can watch your meal being made in the open kitchen.

All meals are made to order. Their beef, cow and buffalo meat is locally raised, hormone free, grass-fed that is made into patties daily.Their french fries are made fresh with peanut oil and their vegetables, when possible, are from local farms. They also serve natural chicken breast and garden burgers.

Their most popular burger is the chili cheeseburger. Other specialty burgers include the Santa Fe Burger topped with whole grilled green chili, pepper jack cheese, lettuce and chipotle sauce or the Blue-Moon Burger topped with blue cheese crumbles, crispy bacon, lettuce and jalapenos.

After an adventure, their milkshakes made from homemade ice cream from “happy Swiss Brown cows” south of town, are over-the-top good. Top it all off with tater tots and the day is complete.
