The Pharmacy Burger Parlor and Beer Garden is an East Nashville staple, thanks to its 100 percent Tennessee-raised beef, house-made sodas, and excellent outdoor beer garden. The lines on a warm summer day attest to its popularity, but locals generally agree that the experience is worth the wait.
Recognized as the first biergarten in the Music City, the menu includes sausage wursts, each which are ground, stuffed and smoked by the on-site kitchen crew. Of course, the extensive beer selection pairs well with those wursts.
While the food and drink makes the Pharmacy land on lots of "best eats" lists, it the environment that makes it a favorite for after a run or ride in nearby Shelby Bottoms Greenway. Think: old-time soda fountain indoors (which is where the Pharmacy gets its name), combined with the best backyard beer garden you can picture.
