Review

Located just off the Natchez Trace Parkway, the Garrison Creek trail takes hikers and trail runners through fields and forests characteristic of the Natchez Trace National Scenic Trail. Winding through wooded coves, the trail eventually takes you through the longest section of the 200 year old Natchez Trace, before climbing to an overlook that provides pastoral views of the Garrison Creek Valley. Then the trail descends to Garrison Creek, and crosses it twice, so be prepared for wet feet. This is a wonderful little hike or run. It's great for training, but also just a beautiful place for a relaxing weekend outing.
