The mountain bike trails at Hamilton Creek are just one of the attractions that bring locals to this Metro Parks facility on the shores of Percy Priest Lake. Hamilton Creek has launches for sailboats and non-motorized crafts, boats and a BMX track. The mountain bike trails are fund near the BMX track, which is the first right turn once you enter the park’s recreation area.

You’ll find are two loops here, one called the lakeside loop, which is about three miles long. You and your bike will find some hills, not to mention rocks and roots and other obstacles.  The longer, more advanced 6.5-mile loop, offers much, but more, of the same.

These trails are great for intermediate to advanced cyclists and are among the more technical in the area. They can be crowded, and they are closed when wet, so check weather reports before heading out.
