Intro

The lake emerges beautifully at every surrounding corner of the lake. From the tall, dark green trees, that my mind imagines will be bright colors of red, orange, and yellow in the following weeks, to the green lily pads on the coastal edges of the shore. It is these scenic views of nature that captivate my thinking as I push my paddleboards among the water. I wonder how I can possibly stay in this experience that is both a rush of the moment, and peaceful state of thought. Maybe it is simply because that is the affect Lake Wintergreen gives to its fellow visitors, a sense of rush that is followed by a meditative state.  One that can be accessed in a manner of minutes from a hectic city, giving its visitors a sense of freedom from their mundane routine.

As you continue down Lake Wintergreen you will be encircled with countless amount of trees and plant life along the coastal shore. It is here that you experience the serenity of being out far into the lake.
