Driving down to the main building the drive is surrounded by vines with different types of grapes on each side. Upon going into the main building you have two options of where to go. Head to the right and sit for a quiet evening in The Bistro for some delicious foods including an assortment of locally grown and raised items. Or head to the left to the Tasting Room where you can also order food.
Chamard offers two types of wine tastings. There is the regular $15 wine tasting and then the $25 reserve wine tasting. We opted for the reserve tasting which also comes with a wine glass that you take home when finished. Our server started us off with the 2010 Estate Reserve Chardonnay which ended up being our favorite.
On a nice day you can sit outside at picnic tables or walk around the vineyard checking out the different grapes being grown. Throughout the year the vineyard hosts singer/songwriting nights, concerts, and weddings.
Chamard Vineyards is just up the road from Clinton Crossings Premium Outlets.
