Outdoor Venture Center: The University of Nebraska at Omaha's Outdoor Venture Center (UNO OVC) is a great local resource for renting outdoor equipment including kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, backpacking and camping equipment and other outdoor related supplies. Greater Omaha Area Trail Runners: This incredibly fun group of great people welcomes running enthusiasts of all ages and abilities. Join the Goatz on their local trail runs, get togethers, and racing events. Visit them on Facebook and their website. You'll often find them trail running at Tranquility Park and Lake Cunningham! Join the Goatz for Taco Tuesdays during spring, summer, and fall months at Boondockers, off of 120th and Fort St. at 630pm. They leave the parking lot to run around Tranquility Park and back for cheap tacos and drinks! See you out there!

Mt. Crescent Ski Patrol

Join the Mt. Crescent Ski Patrol at Mt. Crescent Ski Area in Crescent Iowa! With over 300 vertical feet of terrain, participants can take part in skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and zibob sledding. Sign up for the Outdoor Emergency Care class at the University of Nebraska at Omaha's Outdoor Venture Center to become medically certified. Classes start in August and go through December. In December, become a candidate and take part in on-the-hill training. Learn new ski and toboggan handling skills, improve on existing skills, build camaraderie with a great group of individuals, and take part in many great opportunities offered to patrollers.
