The disc golf course is a staple of the Boyertown Community Park. The course has a par of 54, and includes several obstacles including water, trees, and slight elevation changes. All of the holes are under 400 feet, with most falling under 300 feet. The course plays very fast, and is extremely well kept. All of the holes have concrete tee boxes, and the course is very easy to follow.
What Makes It Great
Unlike some of the other local courses that are much more technical and wooded, this course is much friendlier with more open sections. There are still many trees and other features to keep the course challenging, but this is not the type of course where you will be going through discs. If not everyone in your group wants to play disc golf there are still other things to do in the park. The park has a great playground next to a large pavilion, and there is a nice size walking path that encompasses the park. Keep this path in mind as walkers will be walking in very close quarters to where you will be throwing.
Who is Going to Love It
The Boyertown Community Park disc golf course is the perfect place for beginners. In fact, the area high school which is located nearby requires their students to use this course for their gym classes. If you are a more advanced player, you will still enjoy the fast play and diverse hole offerings. This course is a great place to include the non-playing members of your group, because of the other offerings in the park.
Directions, Parking, & Regulations
