Review

Located just a block off of south street on the corner of 7th and Kater Street, Nomad Pizza provides visitors with mouthwatering artisan style pizzas in Philadelphia. It starts with a unique thin bubbly crust that lightly chars in the wood fired brick oven and then the pizzas are topped with fresh, organic and local ingredients creatively combined for your taste buds pleasure. The Spicy Soppressata pizza is a local lip-smacking favorite combining spicy salami and a drizzle of honey on top of fresh mozzarella, Parmesan, basil, oregano, organic garlic and sprinkled with red pepper flakes. If you’re looking to try something a bit different check out the Truffle Pecorino, topped with a farm fresh egg that oozes out across the slices of pizza covered in mozzarella and toma cheese, shitake mushrooms, organic garlic topped with sea salt black pepper and black truffle oil. To quench your thirst Nomad Pizza also has a good selection of craft beers and wine. And be sure to check out their free Sunday night movies at 8pm where they air all different types of movies projected upstairs onto their big screen.
