Sycamore Canyon Trail is an easy, flat and quick ride designed for beginners; and it's a lot of fun! There is a gradual rise as you head north, and from there, it's all downhill as you go south.

What Makes It Great

This is a local favorite for San Diego, and can often be crowded with other bikers on the trail, especially on the weekends. Goodan Ranch Sycamore Canyon Preserve is jointly owned by San Diego County, the cities of Poway and Santee, and California Fish and Game. The open land has been designated to preserve the area's natural and cultural resources while giving users over 10 miles of trails to play on! Have fun riding through beautiful Sycamore Canyon.

Who is Going to Love It

The riding here is fun, mostly non-technical, but good for all levels of cyclists. Those looking for a more casual but scenic ride will appreciate the twists and turns through the terrain. Experts will be glad to knock out a few loops.
