What Makes It Great
From Liberty Station to Harbor Island and back is about 7-8 miles. A great place to start is Corvette's Diner. From here, run down Historic Decatur Road to Laning Road. Turn left on Laning Road the left on North Harbor Drive. Turn right on Harbor Island Drive, and then right again to stay on Harbor Island Drive. Go until you hit a dead end, then turn around and head back the same way!
This route is generally pretty flat, and stays on paved sidewalks most of the way with only one intersection crossing. The scenic harbor will keep you moving and will certainly entertain anyone accompanying you from out of town. This is a favorite run for many San Diego locals, but usually isn't that crowded, which makes it even better.
Who is Going to Love It
