Right at the water's edge, the Warming Hut was originally built as a storehouse for army engineers. Today, it serves as a meeting spot for cyclists and runners, a warming spot for cold visitors and an information depot. Along with a cafe, the Warming Hut has a bookstore and visitors center. Located at Crissy Field, it’s a nice spot for breakfast or lunch before paddling, hiking or biking. Menu selections include homemade soup, sandwiches and fresh baked goods. Or, get some honey made from beehives located in the Presidio.
