Review

Intro

Carpinteria State Beach, the self proclaimed safest beach in the world, offers great beach activities and exceptional drive up camping. One of the most popular beach campgrounds in the area, Carp State Beach offers beach access and full amenities, including showers, RV hookups, dump stations, picnic tables, fire rings, and a camp store. Reservations for tent and RV sites need to be made far in advance for the summer months and holidays.

What Makes It Great

The campground is within walking distance of downtown Carpinteria and many other great Carp destinations, including the Carp Bluffs and the Seal Rookery. The 12 mile beach is a lovely place to spend a few days enjoying the salty air and ocean views.

Who is Going to Love It

It's a busy but fun campground, especially well-suited for families or groups. Those looking for peace and solitude may not appreciate the lively conditions.
