C Street (formally known as California Street) is a popular surf spot in the Ventura area, located about 20-30 minutes south of Santa Barbara. C Street is comprised of a few different breaks and take-off points from the beach between Ventura pier and the Seaside Wilderness State Park.
What Makes It Great
The multiple take off points is what attracts and supports large crowds. Expect some competition if the swell is really good, but most days this break will allow you to have a relaxed and enjoyable session. Afternoon winds occasionally tend to kill the surf, making this a popular spot in the mornings.
Who is Going to Love It
Long boarders and short boarders of all ages and experience levels will all be able to find a break that suits them best. It's a great all-around area with a friendly vibe.
