You won't find many places on the I-90 corridor frequented by tables of skiers and climbers. It’s not uncommon to walk in and see the some of the same people you saw skiing at Alpental or climbing at Exit 38, and for good reason--because the beer and food are excellent. The Issaquah Brewhouse is owned by Oregon-based brewery, Rogue Ales. It's located in downtown Issaquah and is known for its local Bullfrog Ale. Local beer and outdoor seating make this a good place to grab a bite after you've had a day full of outdoor activities in the Issaquah Alps. Try a pint of Shakespeare Stout during the winter and Ménage a Frog during the hot summer after a quick secession at Exit 32 or 38. Either one goes well with their tasty selection of food, like the Blue Heller Sandwich. It's also kid friendly, with a kids menu, and crayons and games to keep them entertained.
