It would be an understatement to say that Minneapolis is a bike friendly town. Not only does the city boast the second highest number of bike commuters in the nation, but it's also home to events like 30 Days of Biking. Here's a list of 3 great urban rides, and the beer bar where you HAVE to go afterwards:

1. Grand Rounds Scenic Byway
This 55-mile loop, has 7 interconnected sections and access to city streets, making it the perfect path to hop on during your ride to work.

2. Medicine Lake Regional Trail

3. Midtown Greenway
Convenience is the name of the game with this easily accessible route located in the heart of Minneapolis’ Uptown neighborhood.

4. Republic Pub
After you've had your cycling fun on these routes, bike on over to Republic Pub to have a cold, craft brew at one of the Top 100 Beer Bars in the nation.
