Run or walk through Seattle’s streets in a 15k-person haze of green during the St. Patrick’s Day Dash Sunday, March 16. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the nearly 4-mile family friendly run benefitting the Detlef Schrempf Foundation in support of children’s charities.
This is a festive run, expect to see grown men in bright green tutus, and giant pints of Guinness, leprechauns, and pots of gold running down the road. There’s a post-Dash bash at Seattle Center that includes a costume contest, beer garden, giveaways, and live music.
Kids can run in the 1k Leprechaun Lap Dash, and take part in a practice run Sunday, March 8 at the Children’s Museum.
Enjoy a month of activities leading up to Dash Day, including training runs at Super Jock ‘n Jill and registration parties each week at various pubs.
Note that you must register in advance; there is no registration on Dash Day.
